Seller delivery options

Each seller chooses whether standard delivery is free or charged on its listing. The delivery charge appears separately and is included in the purchase-request total. Confirm the delivery address, service, restrictions and estimated timing with the seller before agreeing a purchase. The website does not currently book couriers or generate shipping labels.

Dispatch and tracking

Sellers arrange dispatch of their own stock and should provide the courier, tracking reference and agreed dispatch time. A one-business-day dispatch guarantee is not currently offered across the marketplace. For UK consumer distance sales, delivery is normally required within 30 days unless a different period is agreed. Tracking integrations, automatic delivery alerts and delivery estimates are planned services, not active features.

Missing or damaged parcels

Contact the supplying seller promptly with the order reference and available photos or tracking information. Keep packaging and proof of postage where relevant. A seller’s responsibilities and your consumer rights are not replaced by a courier claim. No short reporting deadline in this policy removes statutory rights.

UK consumer cancellation

For eligible online purchases from a business seller, notify the seller that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods. You then normally have a further 14 days to return them. Refunds include the original standard delivery charge; additional premium-delivery cost need not be refunded. The applicable refund deadline is generally 14 days after the seller receives the goods back or, if earlier, receives evidence of return, subject to the legal conditions.

Return postage and faulty goods

For change-of-mind cancellations, the buyer may bear direct return costs only where the seller properly disclosed this before the purchase; any more generous seller policy takes precedence. Faulty, misdescribed or incorrect goods have separate statutory remedies, and the seller must bear necessary return costs where the law requires. The Phone Market does not currently promise free prepaid return labels for every return.

How to arrange a return

Contact the supplying seller using the contact information provided with the agreed sale. Ask for return instructions and the correct return address before sending the device. Back up and remove personal data, disconnect device accounts, remove your SIM, and package the device safely. Keep proof of posting. For marketplace assistance, email info@thephonemarket.co.uk. An integrated return-request and prepaid-label system is not yet active.
